Phishing Warning! ‘Your Apple ID was used…’ and ‘Your Apple Locked’

Edit: Second example added

Please be aware of a recent Phishing attack making the rounds, asking you to verify your apple account.
The verify link will take you to ‘www apple.id.site-app.mobi’
Just delete if you receive.

Example:

Windows 10 and F-Secure Warning

Warning to Windows 10 users

The current version of F-Secure available from the ITS webpages is not compatible with Windows 10. It may crash and possible damage you Windows 10.

Do not Install, until this has been resolved.

Windows 10 has built in anti-virus (Defender) which will provide reasonable protection, until a compatible version of F-Secure is available.

Reactivating ChemDraw

Those who are currently using versions 10 to 15 should need only “reactivate”. To reactivate, click “Activate ChemDraw…” on the “Help” menu then select “Active over internet”.

If you need your serial number and misplaced it, you can look it up by logging in on http://www.cambridgesoft.com/login/ and clicking “View Serial Numbers & Expiration Dates for Your Downloads” “My Downloads”.
To download v15, go to here and follow the instructions to download.

If your current serial number will not activate, go to the website here. When you reach the download page, you should receive an email within a few minutes with a serial number that should work.

chem-all and chem-building

When you sending email chem-all or chem-building, currently you may get a message like:

Your message to the list ‘chem-all’ has been forwarded to the moderator(s)

This is to try and reduce the amount of malicious and spam emails circulating. Emails will wait to be checked and approved by a moderator, hopefully this is only be a temporary measure.
